Min, a 12-year-old Chinese boy with a language problem, tries to make friends on his first day of school in Harlem, New York. After meeting an older Chinese-speaking boy who’s the neighborhood bully, Min learns a tough lesson about how to survive in his new environment.
The film recently won the Jury Award for Best Asian American Student Film at the Directors Guild of America Awards.
